This tour is heading, with your Eye Travel guide, to the South coast of Crete. The chance to see the other side of Crete ! We cross entirely the island along small villages, where we stop for a coffee. You can buy a fresh pressed orange juice or a coffee, walk around and visit a church from the year 1200 with beautiful frescos and an old olive mill. Toilets are available.

We drive through overwhelming green nature and the Kourtaliotiko canyon, with breathtaking views.

The touch of the warm South winds will welcome us when we reach the Libyan sea. We have lunch in a taverna at very small village at a white sandy beach. You can go for a swim while the traditional tavern prepares our lunch. The lunch is home cooked traditional Cretan food from the oven and salad, with fresh legumes and herbs from their own garden. After our lunch we are heading back to the north, the first part is extremely beautiful with serpentine roads leading us to the top of the hills where we can see a large part of the south coast.

Through the Kotsifou canyon, on dirt tracks and through the green nature and herbs, passing olive groves and grape fields and other small villages we reach the last coffee stop.
