Eye Jeep Safari: Eye Travel guide tour
You are the whole day, with your Eye Travel guide, inside the countryside of Crete. The roads are almost all off road, the chance to see the real inland of Crete! We drive through the mountains towards the grapeyards of the wine areas, passing small villages, through a river bed, sheltered by bamboo, a lot of nature. Crossing the river where we may have some water flowing in the months April, May and again from half of September. One of the highlights is a visit of a cave.
We stop for traditional lunch in a small mountain village with a spectacular history. After lunch we drive through a mountainous area. On the way down we see a magnificent view of the north coast of Crete. We end this interesting day with a swim in the refreshing sea. Come and join us!

- Self driving: min 21 years old AND min 2 years driving license AND min 2 years driving experience AND experience driving at the left side of the car. Responsable drivers! Comfortable shoes, no flip flops.
- Toilets available at the coffeestops and lunch
- Lunch: chicken, vegetables and potatoes in the oven, Greek salad, bread, water and season fruit
- A light jacket is necessary as in the cave and mountains is always 'cool'
- Comfortable shoes for visiting the cave
- It is by no means a test of speed. There will be no bonus for the first arrivals.

Bonne journée en famille
Guide sympathique (Louise). Nous avons passé une bonne journée. Très beaux paysages. Le restaurant du midi était bon. Ns avons pu visiter une coopérative d'huile d'olive à notre demande dans le village où nous avons déjeuner (non prevu au programme).
Petit bémol : pas de baignade en fin de journée car le drapeau de la plage où nous l'on ou à arrêté était rouge alors que les plages 500 m avant le drapeau était jaune (était est-ce pour écourter la journée ?) cela nous aurait fait du bien après une journée ds les terres sous le soleil crétois
Super journée en jeep !! Avec Louise comme guide c’était au top ! Je recommande totalement !!
